Brewing unit for Saeco Philips

The brewing unit is the core mechanical component of Saeco and Philips fully automatic coffee machines, compressing ground coffee and forcing hot water through it under pressure to produce espresso. It includes a piston, filter screen, and a mechanism for ejecting the used coffee puck after brewing. A worn or dirty brewing unit causes weak crema, mechanism jams, or error messages requiring a machine restart.
