3-way solenoid valve for Philips EP coffee machines

The 3-way solenoid valve is part of the water system in Philips EP series fully automatic coffee machines, directing water flow between three different paths (e.g. between the boiler, brewing unit, and drain). The valve opens and closes electromagnetically based on commands from the control electronics, switching the machine between its various functions. A faulty or stuck valve causes leaks, pressure loss, or incorrect switching between machine functions.
