NTC temperature sensor for Philips/Saeco coffee machines

The NTC sensor is a temperature sensor in Philips and Saeco fully automatic coffee machines that measures the water or boiler temperature and sends the data to the control electronics. Based on this reading, the electronics regulate heating so the water reaches the correct temperature for brewing coffee or producing steam. A faulty or inaccurate NTC sensor causes incorrect coffee temperature, error messages on the display, or a complete heating shutdown.
